Our goal is not to raise money but to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our world.  In conversation with God, consider what impact you want to have on advancing our ministry and mission.

What does God want to do through you?

What Are Others Giving?

We are all called to take part in Christ’s redeeming work in this world. We are not asking for equal giving among our members. We are asking for equal sacrifice. For some, a gift of $10 a week might be a sacrifice.  For others, a sacrifice might mean delaying a purchase or donating stock.

What About My Annual Giving?

The capital campaign is an effort to raise money to pay for the facilities necessary for ministry expansion. Capital campaign commitments may be paid over a period of 3-5 years. This is an extra sacrifice asked of members and is in addition to the annual stewardship commitment. It is important that the capital campaign does not negatively impact the annual appeal, which funds our critical church operations, ministries, and programs.

How Can I Give?

Pledges

You may find you can make a bigger impact than you had thought possible by making a pledge over 3 or more years.  Pledging also allows you to determine a schedule for making payments that suits you.  Employers may even match your gift.

 Non-Cash Gifts

Since capital campaigns are rare occasions in member’s lives, many choose to use assets – stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, etc. – to make a sacrificial gift.  Contributing securities under certain circumstances may provide you with significant tax advantages.  To initiate a gift of stocks or securities, please contact Todd Capps (TCapps@StAndrews.Church or 843.284.4322).

Planned Gifts

You may wish to make a bequest in your will, or to name the St. Andrew’s Church – Mt. Pleasant Land Trust as the beneficiary under a trust, life insurance policy, annuity or retirement plan. Consult your personal financial advisor to find out more about these opportunities.
