Easter at Commonhouse (Park Circle) @ Commonhouse Aleworks
Apr 21 @ 9:00 am – 9:55 am

Easter at Commonhouse Aleworks

Easter is not about springtime, eggs, allergies, and bunnies but about hope offered to us through Jesus Christ and his resurrection that we “…may have life and life abundantly” (John 10:10). This year St. Andrew’s Park Circle is thrilled to host our outdoor Easter service in the heart of our neighborhood, thanks to our friends at Commonhouse Aleworks.

Our service will begin at 9:00 AM and will last about 55 minutes. You can expect live music and a message about the hope offered to us through Jesus. Children will stay with their families during worship.

Before and After the Service

Before the service, join us for free fresh coffee from our friends at Orange Spot Coffeehouse. After the service, we hope to meet you and learn a little more about you. At 11 am, Commonhouse Aleworks opens for their weekly Bluegrass Brunch with Flories.

We hope you join us this Easter for a celebration of the resurrection and the goodness of God found in the gospel.

April 22 marks the one year anniversary of the fire that destroyed our Ministry Center and the day that started a new chapter for St.Andrew’s. In observance of that day and to give thanks for all the many blessings St. Andrew’s has been given in the past year as we have begun to rebuild, the Worship Team and the Home Focus Team would like to invite everyone for a block party and worship service to be held Wednesday, April 24.

We will block off Venning Street and have food trucks available from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Beverages will be available for purchase or you may bring your own bottled water or soda.  We will have some tables and chairs and attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or a blanket to sit on before the service.  At 7 pm, the Worship Team will lead us in a service in the Historic Church with overflow in Sams Hall. Parking is very limited so please consider carpooling and parking in the Moultrie Middle lot or Moultrie Shopping Center lot.  In case of rain, we will be in Sams Hall before the service.

Multiple studies show that over 70% of people form a relationship with Jesus between the ages of 4-14. This window of time is a beautiful opportunity to come alongside children and point them to the One who made them, loves them, and wants to be with them forever. If your kids will be in 1st-5th grade in the fall or if you have a heart for shepherding elementary-aged kids, consider becoming a small group leader this coming school year. It’s a simple and fun way to lead kids in a closer walk with Jesus.

Want to hear more about it? Join is for dinner on Sunday, May 19. Childcare will be provided. Please let us know you are coming by emailing Katie Arndt.
