Folks 21-39 years old will gather for a Lowcountry Boil at Hobcaw Yacht Club (chili is also being provided). Come hang out with us, eat great food, establish new contacts, and make new friends. There will be an opportunity to explore what Life Groups and Men’s and Women’s Ministries are all about at St. Andrew’s. Discover St. Andrew’s is designed to help you learn more about the church in general and St. Andrew’s specifically. The course is open to anyone and is a vital link for you to meet other folks exploring membership and what it means to be a part of St. Andrew’s. It is also a good opportunity to find out how to plug in.
In the class, you will discover what we believe, how we function, and those things we believe essential for the life of every member. We will provide childcare (6 weeks – 5th Grade) and lunch and will meet in Sams Hall. Those that take the class may want to join the church at our New Member Service March 31. St. Andrew’s Women’s and Men’s Ministry would like to invite all Senior Saints, (70+), to our annual Legacy Lunch, which is always a favorite event on the St. Andrew’s calendar. We take this time out every year to honor the Senior members of St. Andrew’s and celebrate both the long time Senior members as well as the new. Lunch, live music, and laughter, as well as a few door prizes will be on the agenda for this day. The event is free, but we need to know if you’re attending for catering purposes. Every year, St. Andrew’s hosts a Fishing Tournament along with a Banquet and Auction which benefit our International Missions Partners. All of the money raised goes overseas; the administrative costs of the event are borne by the church.
The Fishing Tournament will be held on June 8, 2019. This is a Charleston Inshore Fishing Tournament. Boundaries are Charleston County areas only accessible by boat. The tournament will be from 6:00 am – 3:00 pm. Check-in will be from 3:00 – 3:30 pm at Tolers Cove Marina.
