Buddy Sunday
Aug 11 all-day
  • Mt. Pleasant Children’s Ministry.
  • Sunday, August 11.
  • Mt. Pleasant Academy and the main campus.

We are so excited to welcome all of our rising kindergartners into the elementary program the “Hub.” To make the transition to the elementary program easier, we will have Buddy Sunday on Sunday, August 11. We know it might seem a little daunting to make the switch to the elementary program, so all rising kindergartners are encouraged to bring a buddy (one or both parents) with them on Buddy Sunday. Just follow the cross out together at the beginning of the service and get ready for a fun morning where you’ll get a preview of what things are like here in the Hub.

Advent is a time to focus on our faith in the Lord. The tradition of the Advent wreath and our prayers provide us a way to enhance our preparation for Christmas. We hope the Advent wreath tradition creates a special time for your family and helps you not lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas.

The event is free. In order to accommodate as many people as possible, we will have two time slots (4-5 pm and 5:15-6:15 pm). Online registration is required and childcare will be provided for younger siblings (6 weeks to 2K). For more information contact Katie Arndt (KArndt@StAndrews.Church or 843.284.4329.)
