Welcome to
St. Andrew’s City Church

At St. Andrew’s City Church, our hope is that no one would be a spectator. Instead, we invite everyone to be participants. We desire for every individual to connect to the presence and power of Jesus Christ, and we believe that happens in the context of worship, relationship and mission.
Our services are released on Vimeo each Sunday at 6 AM, where you can engage with them anytime after. We invite you to come as you are and join with us. We pray that you know God’s presence as we worship together each Sunday.

A note from Terrell:

When we started our 6pm in person worship service last month, we described how we needed to see it as a dance. Sometimes we would step forward, sometimes we might need to take a step back. In the beginning, we had hoped that the Covid-19 infection rate would continue to decline so that we could move back indoors for masked, social-distanced, air-conditioned worship before the end of July. Instead, we are facing an increasing trajectory of new cases that keeps us outdoors in an environment that is only getting hotter.

This week we are pausing our in person worship and, for the near future, replacing it with a recorded service, similar to what we offered through the spring. It will be available at 6am on Sunday. The greatest disappointment is having to stop offering  a personal, community worship event that a hearty group clearly made great effort to attend. We all miss each other and it has been a blessing to see one another, even if we were all behind masks. As a result, we are already making plans for new opportunities for people to safely gather at times of the day and in locations where the summer heat will not be as great a factor. Make sure to read the upcoming emails for the details.

40 Days of Prayer & Fasting

In the midst of racial injustice, political unrest, and a global pandemic City Church alongside Calvary Baptist Church has committed to 40 days of prayer and fasting for our nation. Our motivation comes from the passage Mark 9 where Jesus explains that some things can only be dealt with through just that “prayer and fasting”. If you are interested in participating with us please fill out the form with your email so we can send your resources and other ways in which you can engage with us in this season.

Online Prayer Requests

We would love to be praying for you in this season. Since we are unable to offer physical prayer cards we have created a virtual prayer card which you can now fill out online. City Church staff gathers on Tuesday mornings and prays over each request. Please know that everything that is shared is confidential and will not be shared outside of our meeting.

You can fill out a card here:

Lifegroups

City Church Lifegroups have continued to meet on Zoom during the quarantine. Lifegroups are where we get to know one another and learn what it means to be Jesus’ disciples. We meet to grow in our understanding of the Bible, build genuine relationships with others and encourage one another in our faith journey. If you’re interested in joining a Lifegroup you can sign up to receive information on our website: StAndrewsCityChurch.Com

Barry Bear’s Adventures

We are inviting all the children of City Church to listen to Barry Bear’s Adventures with Mrs. Wendy. Barry Bear and Mrs. Wendy’s favorite stories are about missionaries.  This week’s story is about Adoniram Judson. We hope the children will enjoy story time with their cuddly toy and be inspired to love and serve the Lord all the days of their lives. To view this week’s video you can go to the City Church Youtube page.
