A Church About People – Hospitality

By February 19, 2019Park Circle News

In the wake of this past weekend and the missing trailer a few have asked how can they help. At St. Andrew’s Park Circle we have always been about connecting people to the power and presence of Jesus Christ. As Dave reminded us this past Sunday, we seek to be a church about people and not stuff. Over the next several weeks we are going to focus on a few areas where people can jump in and serve as we look to live out our vision.

This week we are looking for those who would be willing to jump into helping us with hospitality and welcoming people on Sunday mornings. We are looking to fill two specific roles. The first role requires a hearty good morning and a smile as you are the greeters at the entrance of the school. This is a great place for families to serve together.

The second role we are looking to fill are those willing to stand at our welcome table. Here you will extend a more directed welcome with helping our first-time guests feel comfortable as they have taken a big step to join us on a Sunday morning.

Greeter training will be provided and serving will be on a rotation. If you are interested and willing, please reach out to Phillip at PWilson@StAndrews.Church or at 843.452.8157.
