9:00 am – Contemporary Communion Service with Worship Team – Mt Pleasant (Children’s Ministry and Nursery)

This service is meets in the Sanctuary of the Ministry Center, the building behind the Historic Church on the corner of Whilden and Venning Streets. You may enter through both the East and West Entrances to the building.

Both the service and the music are contemporary. Worship music is led by a band with acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, keyboards, drums, and violin. The service ends with communion and there is an opportunity for individual prayer ministry. Dress as you feel comfortable. Most dress casually. It’s not unusual to find adults and children in shorts during the summer.

Children’s Ministry and Nursery

Children’s Ministry and the Nursery serve families with children from 6 weeks old through the 5th grade. Enter through the East Entrance to the Ministry Center and come downstairs. The East Entrance is at the end of the church property.

All children must be checked in by their parents each week. You can pick them up after the service. Children’s Ministry opens 10 minutes before each service and closes 10 minutes after.

Historic Church

7:45 am – Traditional Communion Service - Mt. Pleasant

The service is in our historic church building located right on the corner of Whilden and Venning Streets. Park across Venning Street in the church’s lot and enter through the entrance on Whilden Street.

This is a quiet, spoken word service using a traditional Anglican liturgy. Dress as you feel most comfortable. Khakis and polos are as acceptable as coat and tie.

10:45 am – Traditional Service with Organ and Choir – Mt Pleasant (Children’s Ministry and Nursery)

The service is in the Historic Church located on the corner of Whilden and Venning Streets. Park across Venning Street in the church’s lot and enter through the entrance on Whilden Street.

A vested choir accompanied by the organ lead music at this service. The service is a traditional Anglican liturgy with Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays and Morning Prayer on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Dress as you feel most comfortable. Coat and tie tend to be the uniform but men will be just as comfortable in khakis and polos.

Children’s Ministry and Nursery

Children’s Ministry and the Nursery serve families with children from 6 weeks old through the 5th grade. Enter through the East Entrance to the Ministry Center and come downstairs. The East Entrance is at the end of the church property.

Wednesdays: Mt. Pleasant (440 Whilden St)

11:00 am – Traditional Communion Service – Mt Pleasant

This service is in Middleton Chapel, located on the third floor of Ridley Hall. Enter via the East Entrance and take the elevator to the third floor.

This is a quiet, spoken word service using a traditional Anglican liturgy. Dress as you feel most comfortable. Except during the summer, after the service, the senior saints are invited to lunch in Sams Hall.

6:30 pm (2nd Wednesday of the Month) – Contemporary Service with Worship Team – Mt Pleasant (Children’s Ministry and Nursery)

This service is in the Historic Church. Park in the lot on Venning Street and use the Whilden Street entrance to the Historic Church.

Wednesday Worship is a midweek service that allows for greater freedom than our Sunday services. Features at this very contemporary service include extended worship, brief teachings that are practical and personal, prayer ministry, and oftentimes prophetic ministry. Childcare is provided in the Deep End.

Charleston Music Hall (37 John St)

10:00 am – Contemporary Communion Service with Worship Team – City Church Charleston (Children’s Ministry)

We provide hand sanitizer and masks in our lobby for the benefit of our congregation. While masks are no longer required for vaccinated people, we do recommend them and want everyone to feel comfortable if they chose to remain masked.

Communion will be administered via individually packaged elements. The prepackaged elements will be available at the front of the Music Hall and each individual/family will be instructed to come forward during a time of Response after the sermon. Disposal of expended packets will be done at the end of the service upon exit of the Hall.

Parking

Parking is available in the Camden Garage and the Charleston Visitors Center Garage. Pick up a parking voucher from the Connections table.

Children’s Ministry

Children attending City Kids should check in with their parents in the upstairs lobby.

Elementary Children (5K-5th Grade)

After checking in, children will join their parents in the auditorium for worship. They will be dismissed when the opening worship is done to come upstairs to City Kids and return to their families in the auditorium following the sermon.

Preschoolers (2K-4K)

Preschoolers attending City Kids must be potty trained. After check-in, children will remain upstairs during the service and must be picked up by parents after the service.

Holmes Avenue Church (4602 Durant Ave)

9:00 am – Contemporary Communion Service with Worship Team – Park Circle North Charleston (Children’s Ministry)

The church meets in the sanctuary of Holmes Avenue Church.

Both the service and the music are contemporary. The service ends with communion and there is an opportunity for individual prayer ministry. Dress as you feel comfortable as Park Circle Church as a very laid back vibe.

Restrooms

Restrooms are available in the Welcome Center as you enter to the left.

Masks

With the exception of staff and volunteers in Children’s Ministry, masks are no longer required.

Children’s Ministry

Our nursery and toddler rooms are located to the right of the welcome desk. Parents are encouraged to drop off their little ones prior to the service and sign them in at the door to the Children’s Ministry area. Older kids are dismissed from our service before the sermon for a time with their leaders. They will return prior to communion to participate with their families.

Giving

Our offering for the in-person service will be in a black locked box on the table in the welcome center and for our online service through our website.
