What Jesus’ Baptism Means for You

Bible Study

Don’t just take our word for it . . . take His! We would encourage you to spend time examining the following Scriptures that shaped this sermon: Matthew 3:13-17 and Genesis 3:1-7

Sermon Outline

When Jesus appeared before John the Baptist to be baptized by him, John tried to prevent him as he saw no need for Jesus to be baptized. However, Jesus persisted and told John that there was reason for his baptism. Jesus’ baptism demonstrates three things in particular.

Is on your side

Is well acquainted with your sin

Makes it all personal
