Connecting to St. Andrew’s
Because of different facilities and sizes, each congregation of St. Andrew’s connects to visitors in different ways. On any Sunday, you can speak to someone at the information tables or to one of the clergy.
In Mt. Pleasant the welcome center located at the west entrance of the gallery is the best place to start. Our Connections team will help get you connected or answer any questions you may have. During this time with no in-person services, you can connect with us at StAndrews.Church/connect. Or you can contact Kyle Holtzhower (843.284.4346 or KHoltzhower@StAndrews.Church).
City Church (Charleston)
At City Church we have a Welcome Table set up every Sunday with members of the Connection Team there to help get you connected and answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions about getting connected at City Church, email our Pastoral Assoicate, Sam Hunter (SHunter@StAndrews.Church).
Park Circle (North Charleston)
At Park Circle Church, please speak to Lead Pastor Dave Libbon (DLibbon@StAndrews.Church).
The Alpha Course
Alpha is a safe, fun, and relaxed opportunity for those who are genuinely seeking answers to life’s deepest questions. In a no-pressure gathering, people come together to listen to an intriguing presentation and have a meaningful discussion. And now with Alpha online, you can join from the comfort and security of your own home.
The key to Alpha is listening within a judgment-free space where any point of view is respected, no one gets corrected and people can explore their thoughts together.
Many join for different reasons, with different backgrounds and points of view, but all are seeking to find whether Jesus and Christianity have any relevance for their life.
What happens at Alpha Online?
Each week follows the same pattern that lasts no longer than 75 minutes. A fun, informal time of fellowship at the beginning while people log-in, a video highlighting an important part of Christian thinking, followed by honest small group discussion. You will find yourself not only learning from the presented video but also realize that you are building genuine relationships through engaging in open dialog with your group. We love to say that Alpha is actually all about relationships. And that’s a really good thing!

Discover St. Andrew’s
Discover St. Andrew’s is open to anyone and is designed to help you learn more about church in general and St. Andrew’s Church specifically. The course is a great place to get your questions answered and it serves as a vital link for you to meet other folks exploring membership and what it means to be a part of St. Andrew’s. It is also a good opportunity to find out how to “plug in.” In the class you will discover what we believe, how we function and those things we believe essential for the life of every member. We will provide childcare and dinner each evening. We look forward to meeting you.
For more information about the next class, please contact the church office (843.284.4310 or Office@StAndrews.Church).
