Connecting to St. Andrew’s

Because of differing facilities and sizes, each congregation of St. Andrew’s connects to visitors in different ways. On any Sunday, you can speak to someone at the information tables or to one of the clergy.

In Mt. Pleasant on any Sunday morning, you can drop by the Welcome Center located in the lobby of the Ministry Center or speak to one of the clergy. On the second Sunday of every month, join us for a cup of coffee and a conversation. Whether you are new to St. Andrew’s and have questions, are looking for a LifeGroup, or interested in volunteering – this is the place for you. The drop in coffee is free and follows immediately after both our 9 am and 10:45 am services in Sams Hall. At the evening services, please speak to one of the clergy. For more information please contact Kyle Holtzhower (843.284.4346 or KHoltzhower@StAndrews.Church).

AlphaThe Alpha Course

We know that faith can come hard and that many people have honest questions about God and faith.  We welcome the skeptics, the curious, and the committed to work through their questions, doubts, and objections around the Christian faith.

A great starting point to process your doubts and beliefs or to simply explore the Christian faith is The Alpha Course. Alpha is a nine-week course examining Christian belief where no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you like. Each evening begins with free dinner followed by a talk, and ends with a small group discussion. Childcare is provided. Join us on Monday, September 12 at St. Andrew’s for the Kick Off Dinner. You can come and check it out and if you decide it is right for you, you can register for the whole course that night. For more information, to hear what others say about Alpha, or to register, visit us at

Discover St. Andrew’s

Discover St. Andrew’s is open to anyone and is designed to help you learn more about church in general and St. Andrew’s Church specifically. The course is a great place to get your questions answered and it serves as a vital link for you to meet other folks exploring membership and what it means to be a part of St. Andrew’s. It is also a good opportunity to find out how to “plug in.” In the class you will discover what we believe, how we function and those things we believe essential for the life of every member. We will provide childcare and dinner each evening. We look forward to meeting you.

For more information about the next class, please contact the church office (843.284.4310 or Office@StAndrews.Church).
